Who am I and where do I come from?
Question 1 is answered easily. I am a princess. A golden princess. I know this because I have such a great life. I own a cozy crate that has a pillow and a very soft blanket. I own 6 more beds, all well appointed and regularly washed. I have a royal chariot and my humans chauffeur me around.
I have better health care than most humans too.
Where I come from is another matter. See, I was rescued by GOLDENBOND (Golden Retriever Rescue in Oregon). They took me to a very nice foster home and from there my humans adopted me. My mom is a Goldenbond volunteer.
I don't know who my parents were. My humans sort of wanted to know and they had a DNA test done. Check the adventures page for details on that.
Before Goldenbond rescued me, life was not so good. I was abused and very scared. I still am scared sometimes, but my humans keep me safe and I feel lucky to have such a great home.
If you think that you would like a dog or cat, please check into the rescue option. There are so many dogs like me who deserve a good home and who are just waiting to be adopted.
